The Sfax Maritime Guard in Tunisia has thwarted 6 attempts at illegal migration, reports the Tunisie Numérique website on October 10. According to the same source, interventions by the National Maritime Guard in the governorate of Sfax resulted in the rescue of 135 would-be migrants. Tunisie Numérique notes that these migrants include 32 Asians, 99 Sub-Saharans and 4 Tunisians.
